Shane's Seafood & BBQ

Had a great time at Shane's with my family. Both the seafood and the barbecue was really good, everybody enjoyed what they had. The only thing that bothered us was the automatic charging of 18% gratuity for bigger groups.

It is a very nice place and the service is also very good. All of the food that I have tried there are really good. I personally recommend the meat pies, as they were particularly delicious.

Just be aware that there is an extra 18% tax if you choose to go with a large group. Apart from that, I do not have any complaints.

I definitely recommend this place if you happen to have a bit of extra money.

We enjoy eating food from here fairly frequently. We don't dine in much, so I cant speak to the state of the location or the table service, but the food we order is always as expected. We love the cheeseburgers and tamales the most!

I normally get the catfish which is good, but portions are small. Today I tried the three meat BBQ plate. Portion size was very good, pork ribs, hot links and brisket. Only the brisket was bland. The other meats were tender and flavorful. The sides, cob corn and bbq beans were quite good. The children tried the chicken strips with fries which they enjoyed. Kid friendly atmosphere with plenty of parking. Prices were family friendly.

For a girl born and bred on bayous but living in another state this place is awesome. I gator tail is tender and good. Fried green tomatos weren't soggy. Frog legs were a bit small and bland. Definitely on my top places to eat when in Shreveport.
