The service is good and attentive, but it depends on who you received as waitstaff. The appetizers were the best part, with the Queso Fundido & Chicken Flautas being the group favorites.
If you only get one side, get the Street Corn, you won't be disappointed.
Best plates were Huevos Rancheros, the Burrito, & Chicken Fajitas.
Plates we wouldn't get again is the Steak Fajitas, due to inconsistent cook on 3 orders and one order having some excess fat portions (more than normal for sliced steak).
Definitely would go again due to the unique and refreshing flare Johnny Sanchez brings to Lake Charles.

Great place to grab a quick lunch. They had a straight forward breakfast and lunch menu. The waitress told us that the dinner menu was a bit different. We had lunch, it was pretty good (see pics below). The bar looks to be a nice and relaxing place to sit and have a few drinks. Marquetta was our waitress she was great.

This event to open Johnny Sanchez at L'Auberge was awesome. The food was great. The Steak Tacos, The Enchiladas, and the Fried Lobster Tacos are all worth a trip back. I can't wait to go back to eat again.

Swan was the absolute best server, we loved her. Very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We strayed away from our regular Nugget stay to try Lauberge because of this new restaurant. We started with Queso, sadly no plantain chips with were highly recommended from friends. The Queso was perfect though. We had drinks, both were really good, Smoke in the water was a strong good. I ordered the Half Chicken with a side of street corn, both were great. My fiancé had a side of Mac and cheese with his fish which was also good. The only thing I was surprised by was the tortillas. I expected Homeade and these were your typical store bought tortillas. We did try to have lunch here on the patio but the server explained they are still working out the kinks and would only be open for breakfast and dinner. Swan was fabulous though ❤️❤️
