Cheng's Restaurant and Bar

Really great restaurant for Chinese food. Far better than most others I've tried in the city. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. The menu is mostly familiar, so its not hard pick something to try. Food was very fresh and the portion sizes are ample as well. Probably one of the best fried rice ive had. The atmosphere was nice, which just added to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good Chinese food in Baton Rouge.

Some of the best food experience I've had in a while. Very quick and attentive service, and of course high quality and great tasting food.

We have enjoyed a couple of dinners here. Good service in a pleasant ambiance. The quality of the meals is high, with fresh ingredients. We have enjoyed several of the chicken dishes, the edamame and the lo mein. All recommended. The ambiance is fine, although a couple of the walls are bare. They have two or three pretty pieces of art and the lighting is ok.

I had a wonderful experience. Hot and sour soup is perfect on a cold day. If you like pork belly, the double cooked pork is a must try. Large portion. Relaxing atmosphere. The owners are the nicest people. Great Chinese spot in Baton Rouge

Got here for midday lunch. Tried the sesame chicken lunch special. It was very good. The portion size was great. Not overloaded on the rice. I liked the bento box style trays. I’ll probably try the “Ants Climbing Trees” dish next time. 👍🏻
