Iverstine Butcher

Best damn burger I've had in Baton Rouge. The patty had that nice char on it, and everything tasted fresh from the beef to the buns.

Very good lunch specials, I will have to go back to get the Butcher to cut me some steaks.

I've never had a dry aged steak before, and my wife got one for me this year. Her and my daughter aren't really into steak, so for them, she got boudin and burgers. I can't stress enough how well all of this tasted. She said the burgers were so juicy and the boudin, while it had a decent kick in it, was amazing. Lastly the dry aged ribeye... for starters, the butcher answered all of my questions that inquired about having never cooked one before and was super polite, upbeat energy, and extremely professional. The steak itself is something that is very hard for me to describe. All I can say is if you've never tried one, I highly recommend getting one from here. The flavor of the beef is something I've never experienced before and I've been eating steak for 30+ years. This was definitely a great birthday and alot of thanks goes to you fellas over at Iverstine's. I hope for continued success for you guys as I will certainly become a regular. Thank you!

If you want the best quality meat in town then go to Iverstine! I've been a huge fan for several years now, and I love just how good everything tastes. I've tried soooo many different things here, and they've all been absolutely delicious. You pretty much can't go wrong with anything here. 😁

Came in to browse meat to smoke. Had no idea they also sold food. Wife and I decided to get lunch so, I got the pot roast meal that came with 3 sides. Wife got the burger and fries.

The food was well cooked and tasted great! It was above and beyond what I expected from a butcher shop.
