So my review is strictly based off my DoorDash order. I ordered the catfish strips and after few chicken strips along with a root beer. My DoorDash order came extremely fast and my food was still very hot. The fish was extremely good and did not taste fishy at all. I really enjoyed the fish and would order again. The chicken strips were average and nothing really special about these. The order came with fries and hushpuppies as well. I didn't eat the fries because they were soggy but I think all delivered fries are. (Not their fault) Now the hushpuppies were really good. I'm an extremely picky eater and love finding hushpuppies that don't have onions in the breading. These were strictly breading and corn which have it a nice sweet adder. Then washed it down with a Barqs root beer that was in a bottle. I would recommend this place and will order again next time I'm in town.
So delicious I have come back for a second dinner meal straight. We'll see about tomorrow, but highly I'll be back again tomorrow night. Lol.
Very courteous and kind staff. Recommend!!!
Came back 7/31 for the shrimp platter. So good! Everything was perfect! They have Louisiana hot sauce if you ask! Thanks again!!!
My brother and I went and were very pleased with our meal. The employees were very polite. The dining room and kitchen were spotless. We had the chicken and fries deal. The tenders were well seasoned and huge. It was plenty to eat off of twice. My only complaint is that I wish they had diet sprite or diet Dr. Pepper or diet root beer, just any other diet option other than coke or tea. Still get 5 stars.
I am disappointed with Baton Rouge restaurants closing at 9pm on weekends! So, I decided to try Off the Hook before it closed. They must have run out of bread, so no po boys. I ordered the catfish platter. The fish was crispy and tender with average seasonings and fries were not seasoned but good. The three small hush puppies were very favorable and very tasty. The accompany of store sauce had a particular flavor that wasn't to my liking. I specifically requested lemon wedges and came out empty for my fish. The food is good for fast food restaurant.
