The Original Krab Queenz Baton Rouge

Amended--- Sam made good on her word and we were able to come back and enjoy a savory meal. They remembered why we were there and staff was excellent. I think that I was so peeved initially because I have NEVER visited Krab Queenz and received subpar service. The make up visit was truly delightful and our server was new but she was attentive and personable. The food was excellently prepared. I have to admit that I feel better about the restaurant and the service. I have no complaints regarding this visit.

It was not a pleasant experience. We arrived prior to 6 p.m. and did not receive our food order until 7:44 p.m. The food was bland. They just dumped a handful of parsley on top. The service was poor, and I do not think I will frequent it here at all. There were three of us, and one was an older veteran. No discount was given to her, and the drinks were sub-par. We had to ask for drinks to be remade. We used to frequent the previous location near LSU, and it was MUCH better. We were looking forward to having a similar experience where the food, service, and drinks were awesome. We had to ask other servers to remind ours to visit us. We spoke to two managers in order to get some type of resolution. They offered us beignets... hell no! Sam offered us to come back for another time, finally. After that, I'll be done with them.

We came here, for the first time, from out of town. Tamica was our waitress. She was great. She was friendly, attentive, seemed as if she like her job, and wasn't bothersome. We loved the atmosphere, too. Even though it was so busy that we had to wait for a table, it had a nice, well spaced, calm and chill vibe once seated. The food was delicious, too, especially with the Juicy special seasoning. We will definitely come back the next time we're in town.
