So yeah! We volunteered today at an event at the Hotel today. I had not eaten much of anything. I was told that the food here was good. And ya'll, THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!!! I clearly forgot to take a picture of our foods. I asked the gentleman what would he recommend, he suggested the Louisiana chicken it came with roasted potatoes & broccoli. I also had a cup of gumbo, it had duck in it, I thought that it was beef. Lol, first time eating duck. It was delicious. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS & WELL SEASONED, my hub had garlic parm chicken wings. For dessert we somewhat shared the bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream on top. Oh oh oh and with my dish it also came with a corn dish. It was delicious! We've NEVER had food this tasty inside ANY hotel. Shout out to the Chefs who prepared the food & the servers, Topher & Blue. We definitely recommend this spot & we definitely will come back when we pull thru.
Ya'll come & see.
I did a call in and picked up from the bar. Great food, great drinks, awesome atmosphere. I ordered crawfish etouffee, 2 side orders of grilled shrimp and a cosmo to go for $70. Everything was perfect.
It was a nice restaurant. The waitress was busy so I understand waiting for things longer than normal. The food was good. I got the Louisiana hot chicken meal and it wasn’t overwhelming with spicy, which I loved. Whatever glaze they put on it gave it a great finish. It reminded me of the chipotle chicken tenders that you can get at chilis. I would come back and try other items on the menu
Wow... talk about a hidden gem off the beaten path. It was a really good experience for me just getting off a long flight. During the time of travel, I was here on a Thursday afternoon and not really a lot of people.
If you're a whiskey drinker, they have a nice selection of whiskey, which I was decently impressed. At least they had my favorites: Blanton, Monkey Shoulder, Basil Hayden, Knobb Creek, etc.
The hotel itself is nice, relaxing, clean... everything you could ask for. Bartender was very attentive to my needs and prices were.... well, take a look at the menu. Not too shabby.
Also, very close to some shopping and restaurants if you don't want to pay the hotel bar charges.
Awesome experience dining here for it first time. Many have read my reviews of other restaurants and know I'm picky. Stinky's gets high marks in all areas. The restaurant was clean, the staff friendly and the food was on point. I had an oyster basket and my wife had the shrimp basket. Both were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of batter. My oysters were plentiful, served with a small container of coleslaw which was a different recipe than most places, it had pineapple, and was delicious (I wished there was more of it). There was also a generous portion of french fries that were an interesting cut, not too thin not too thick, also very good. We ordered a side of mac-n-cheese, which was a great move, best I've had in a restaurant in a long while. All-in-all, you can't go wrong here.
