I have eaten here several times. The food is always awesome! The red beans and jerk chicken are my favorite! Good drinks and friendly service as well.
Went to Cecelia Creole Bistro during restaurant week. This was my first visit. I had the BBQ rubbed pork ribeye on top of a bed of White Rice and black beans. And my dinner date had the Shrimp and Grits. We both enjoyed our dishes. The pork ribeye was cooked to perfection. It was perfectly seasoned and so juicy. The rice and beans was very flavorful and complimented the pork rib very well. My dinner date said his shrimp and grits was very good, seasoned well and tasted so good.
The prices on the menu was very very reasonable The atmosphere was very trendy and nice. We would definitely visit again.
Food and service were both great! The restaurant is extremely cold so after I ate my cornbread I asked for my pork chop to go. The pork chop was nice and juicy. Good meal...other than freezing to death.
This review is solely on the appetizers. I absolutely love the cornbread in the cast iron skillet, chicken and sausage gumbo and alligator bites. Who ever does the fried food is the real MVP. I have also tried the crab cakes and the oysters. I frequently visit this place because I live near it. You will never have to wait to be served. The service is always great. The bar area is the best place to me. I do like how it is decorated. The other item on the menu is very different, Not the typical fried catfish and etouffee. So dare to be different and give them a try.
