My fiance and I met up here for lunch to try they're new menu featuring Asian sandwiches and loaded fries and wow was it delicious! The French bread they get from a new orleans bakery and it was perfect! The Choo Choo's Hot fries (pictured) were sooooo good! Asian buffalo chicken with kimchi! The Sappari Senpai was also delicious and reminded me of an Asian inspired shrimp poboy. Everything had great bold Asian flavors! We will definitely go back to try the other sandwiches!
Clean, intimate and modern setting with a convenient location. Fast and friendly service in a happy atmosphere. Menu is direct and descriptive, easily read from around the restaurant. Dishes are varied in composition; the ingredients are paired very well, creating a bold flavor with many individual delicate layers. Austin and his staff are pushing the concept of food in new and interesting directions, highly recommend stopping in and becoming a regular.
Best modern Asian fast-food in Baton Rouge! The service is quick, the food comes out fast and is delicious! The Sloppy Zhou is a must-try for anyone who likes Sloppy Joes. This great new restaurant is also fantastic for vegetarians. There are TVs on the wall and yes they have soft drinks and water. The location is literally facing Main Street, just outside of the Main Street Market. The owner, Austin Wong, is here all the time and really gets to know all his customers. Try this place, you'll really like it! Two thumbs up!
The service here is great. The owners are on site and they are so friendly. In fact the owners cook most of the food. The other staff are great as well. The problem with the place is the food is just okay. The Sensazn salad is $6.50 and then an additional $2.50 for chicken. This is not a horrible price for a downtown eatery. The sides that I chose were, again, just okay. Out of all of the sides I ate the brussel sprouts were the best. The broccoli was well seasoned, the green beans had a little kick to them and they were okay, the bok choy was good, but the brussel sprouts were really really good. They do have a breakfast menu that I plan to check out I plan to get the omelet in fact.
Stopped in on a whim one day for lunch, food was good and loved that they had healthy options. Loved the brussel sprouts! The gentleman cooking was also a super nice guy.
