Local and authentic food from El Salvador. If you have never had a pupusa before, this is the place the get the real deal.

Ordered a cheese and bean pupusa and 2 tacos al pastor (seasoned pork) from the current takeout menu for lunch today. My plate came with curtido (pickled cabbage slaw), chirmol (I think, similar to pico de gallo, a bit too much onion), salsa roja (needs to be cooked down a bit more IMHO), something that reminded me of Peruvian aji verde (a spicy green sauce) and fresh lime. Enjoyed the pupusa but it was so well filled that it started to fall apart as I ate. The tacos were delicious though I didn’t eat them as intended. Since I was in my office alone, I dumped the meat off the tortillas (seemed to be homemade) and topped it with the curtido which I hadn’t used on the pupusa since it fell apart, the chirmol, lime juice, and some of the aji verde. Use caution with this, it’s very spicy. I then sort of made 4 mini tacos, they fell apart, and enjoyed. It’s definitely a 2 napkin lunch. I gave them 4 stars taking just a bit off for the bland salsa and overly filled pupusa and corn tortillas and the rest because I did have some minor GI upset later so I'm not sure they are keeping food at the right temperature. I did take out (2pm) and the order was ready when promised. I'll definitely be back to try out other things on the menu.

The food was hot fresh and good. This was my first time trying Salvadore food and it was okay. I would try it again in the future. The tacos were awesome?. Also, the sever and the cashier was very nice and bilingual so it was nice to be able to have an order placed without worrying about if they understood me. I give them 4 out of 5 stars because the food was good, fresh, and inexpensive. But I removed one star because the place is dingy and it's kind of like a hole in a wall looking place. Also, it took a long time to get my food. I like fast svc casual restaurants but other than that it's a good place to try something new.

Food was great. Would return for tacos on a short visit. When ordering several items on the menu were not available. The seats are worn and tattered. Restrooms smelled dirty.

Excellent food at an affordable price. If you're ever nostalgic about Central American food then look no further. The baleadas are a great breakfast plate and the tamales are a good filler in case you're still hungry. The food is served quickly with excellent service. Must go.
