I was visiting some friends over the weekend and this is probably one of the best steak tacos I have ever ate. You could tell they use really good quality beef and for a taco stand the portions were great and the prices were extremely affordable. Recommend for sure please try. You won’t be disappointed.
This is such a hidden gem. The very best, most unique tacos EVER. My only complaint is their inconsistency in being open for business and they close early sometimes as well. They don't have a phone number (must do better), so you can't call to make sure they are open. I've gone twice and they were closed, both times before 8pm. This is a food truck, but the menu reads like a full fledged sit down restaurant. I would have given five stars had their hours and days open for business been consistent with the information on the site.
Huge selection of tacos, I decided on these two. WOW!!! A completely different twist on tacos, they were so good. My only regret is that I couldn’t get more, too full. So, I’ll try a couple more before I head back home. This is a must if you’re in the Baton Rouge area and looking for some good unique tacos and beer.
Great tacos, queso, guac, and chips. Staff is also helpful and courteous. My only gripe and the reason for 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that the tacos are barely filled and are very tortilla heavy as a result. You don't really feel like you're getting your money's worth. This seems to be a relatively recent issue. It never used to be a problem, but my last 3 trips here were disappointing. See my picture compared to the promotional ones.
We stopped in for a fantastically informative brewery tour and decided to stay for dinner. The tacos were intense to say the least. We tried a good variety and they were full of flavor and spice! My wife who was hesitant to see the brewery was glad we stayed for the tacos... she already wants to go back again, which will let me get more of that great Tin Roof beer. These two places get it right!
