Gov't Taco

It's amazing: every time I go to Govt Taco, I think, "I'll just get what I got last time, it was great!" But every single time there's something new on the menu I want to try. Jay Ducote has outdone himself. Try the Clucks and Balances or the Catfish taco, both are amazing.

I was so stoked to try this place! The Clucks and Balances is the best taco on the menu! OMG! ??? I did try The Catfish Are Coming and I didn’t like the flavor. My daughter ordered the Steak of the Union and she didn’t like the flavors. She loved the Clucks and Balances, though.

I tried the pineapple salsa, but to me, it tasted like medicine. However, the queso is the bomb!! The chips are great too, although some chips were way too salty. We tossed them to the side. I had to get the corn, as I am an avid corn on the cob lover. I found that the corn was just too much! Too many flavors fighting. I didn’t like it.

The food temperature could have been better. It was slightly warm. I prefer my food warm to hot. The employee that assisted us was friendly and helpful.

Overall, I am looking forward to trying some other tacos on the menu. I will just stay away from the pineapple salsa and corn along with the tacos I don’t like.

Get these two specials before they are replaced !! Every component was on point. The titles and descriptions are in the photo on the menu board. You will not be disappointed.

These were very good flavor combinations. That whipped ricotta wow. I don't want to hear about potato salad on the taco. It was money !

Wonderful, concise, and delicious selection of tacos and associated goodies. Their salsa selection is nice. The pineapple is my favorite.
