I was expecting at least a 20 or 30 minute wait, but I was pleasantly surprised when my food and drink came out to me within 10 minutes and was fresh and hot. “I've been hearing about Superior Grill for ages, but I have never been until last night. I got the pulled pork nachos which were really good. But this place is known for their steak and fajitas. My father in law ordered the fajitas and he absolutely loved it. My mother and law got the steak and she is still raving about it. Good place with good service. Not an official 5 star restaurant but the food is incredible, just ask anyone.”

“Great Chinese take out, menu has the usual chinese fast-food type things. All food is made when the order is placed so it takes about 5-10 minutes to have ready. They have about 6 small tables, but most of their business is takeout. The Lunch combos are a great deal. I always call ahead to place my order to have the food ready to pickup.”

“A new place opened today on Jefferson between Government and Claycut. I was on the run, so I ordered to go. It's not far from my house so the food was still crisp and hot when I got there. Don't judge me. Lol The fried pickles were good. What I would describe as a dill ranch was easy for the pickles to be dipped in, and very homemade tasting, not store bought tasting, which I prefer. The homemade onion rings were a treat. I dipped some in the pickle dipping sauce. The child's fish came with a large filet, and large crinkle cut fries which the kids loved. The roast beef po boy was excellent. Leidenheimer bread and real deal shaved beef with home made aujus gravy. Not some store bought deli beef. The pressed meatball poboy was very good and next time I'll ask for extra red gravy (sauce) on the side for dipping. The Cuban was also pressed and perfectly melted the cheese which had an awesome pull. No shortage of meat on this sandwich either. I saw a nice cozy bar, which I will try next time, in the restaurant. I couldn't take a picture with the number of patrons sitting there.”

“I was so stoked to try this place! The Clucks and Balances is the best taco on the menu! OMG! ??? I did try The Catfish Are Coming and I didn’t like the flavor. My daughter ordered the Steak of the Union and she didn’t like the flavors. She loved the Clucks and Balances, though. I tried the pineapple salsa, but to me, it tasted like medicine. However, the queso is the bomb!! The chips are great too, although some chips were way too salty. We tossed them to the side. I had to get the corn, as I am an avid corn on the cob lover. I found that the corn was just too much! Too many flavors fighting. I didn’t like it. The food temperature could have been better. It was slightly warm. I prefer my food warm to hot. The employee that assisted us was friendly and helpful. Overall, I am looking forward to trying some other tacos on the menu. I will just stay away from the pineapple salsa and corn along with the tacos I don’t like.”

“Good food. Nice serving ladies. Food was a bit cold when giving to us at the table BUT the lady when and heated it up for us so I call that wonderful. Thank you. I had red beans and rice and sausage and it was absolutely delicious. I also had macaroni and cheese. Was good. The green beans were very good. Had a role that was delicious. I devoured that. And then I got chocolate pie and it was absolutely delicious I even save some for home. Loved the food. 4 star I give for sure. I recommend for people to eat there! We had a huge crew of people and they even pulled up tables for us and stuff so we could all eat together.”

“Once we discovered an alternative to Subway, we were hooked. I love the poboy bread better than Subway and the meat is sliced and heated on the spot. We usually get the medium club sandwich and usually buy the combo which comes with a drink and chips. It is $11.00 for the Medium combo and I think that is very good for a meal since my spouse and I split the poboy. We usually go to the one on Seigen Lane, which is the strip mall across from Academy Sports, next to Capitol One Bank.”

“We spent the day moving our daughter's stuff out of her apartment after she recently graduated from LSU. We asked her to take us to her favorite restaurant for burgers. Her favorite is Curbside Burgers located on the north side of the city on Government Street. We all had the Classic Cheeseburger. Must say a very good burger. In addition, we shared a larger order of their fries. Another thumbs up!!! Two others in our party had the Cookies & Cream and Strawberry Shakes. We shared to have a taste. All were very good. They feature a variety of specialty burgers and salads. They also have outside dining and on occasions have bands to entertain. Nice decor. Suggest pull up to the curb and try Curbside Burgers.”

The sports fanatics will never have to complain about missing any games since, I believe, there are enough TV’s to show many games simultaneously.
