Pita Pit (Sherwood)

My daughter has been telling me about this place for years. I finally went any sandwich was delicious! I had the gyro pita. I am definitely going back!

Out of all "fast food" places that I've been to I cant say that they beat this place. I mean you can literally smell the food when they serve it to you from the window. Something I didnt realize about other places until I went to pita pit. When you eat the food, you dont feel sick to your stomach and it's actually enjoyable. Highly recommend.

This location is the BEST in Baton Rouge. The girl in front counter helped me get my uber eats delivery fast and friendly.. This place is awesome!

Not overly impressed. I've had way better $7 salads. The gyro meat is not authentic, little dry and tough. Very small inside, only seats 16. The dining area was very dirty and messy, had to clean our own table as did everyone else.
There was also a lot of confusion as to where a fork might be to eat my salad with. I know they're new, but c'mon.
On the plus side, the veggies are super fresh!!! Many to choose from.
The menu was quite extensive, little confusing for our first time. Didn't like feeling rushed to make a choice either.
The staff isn't overly friendly either, seems they're just there to earn a paycheck. Eh, it's fast food.
I probably won't be back as I can get better, less expensive, salads other places.
I would suggest cutting or tearing the lettuce into more manageable pieces. Or offer a knife to cut it with, pretty awkward to eat a salad with your hands.
And the bathroom was out of order... nice.
If you're in a hurry, getting take out and just want something other than fried fast food, then it's great.
Hopefully in time they'll improve things.
