Podnuh's Bar-B-Q

Ate lunch at the Florida Blvd location today and the half chicken plate was awesome. Melt off the bone and good!

Been going to both Baton Rouge Podnuhs locations most of my life. Not a super up-to-date looking location but it has a feel that I really like. I can usually only get to this location once a month or so but I go whenever I can. Always good food but when the brisket isn’t dry I think it’s amazing. I guess you can call me a regular and will continue to be.

The food was good, but I'm not sure why they threw raw onions in my plate. I am not an onion fan. But they sauce was really nice and tangy and the plate was well presented. I got the chicken and ribs plate. The price is not too bad for all the meat we got, but also I could have passed on the slice of bread in the paper bag.

This place is just alright. The chicken didn't taste that seasoned today. Chicken wasn't tender. They didn't have mac and cheese. Plate looked better than it tasted. I did like the 6.99 lunch price.

Haven't been there before. Was pretty good. Not the best LOOKING restaurant but food was good. Customer service was ok after "struggling" at first. Took a while for employees to get warmed up I guess. I obviously needed help but they didn't offer assistance til minutes later. Guess I could have asked sooner but figured it's part of their job to approach the customer first. But all in all it was a pretty decent experience!
