El Tio Taqueria

OH. MY. GOODNESS! Currently continuing the hunt for the greatest, most authentic taco in Baton Rouge, and we might just have a winner. However, given the deliciousness of this quest, we don't plan on stopping lol. El Tio is a great little spot, not necessarily in the greatest of locations. But let's be honest, the BEST food never is. I'm already looking forward to the next time I get to visit. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

This place has great quality food in a generous portion compared to other shops. The verde sauce and the salsa are the best I’ve had in Baton Rouge! I’m always enthralled with whatever food choice I make from their superb menu selection.

O Dios Mio! We finally found some authentic street tacos near us.... And they are moi deliciosos! We ordered asada and pollo tacos and a burrito and they are legit. We will be back soon!!

Stumbled upon this place and it's great. Very friendly staff, Very tasty tacos. And cheap. Will def go here again, even if it's out of the way.

Authentic Mexican food with glass bottled Coke, Fresca, etc. with good servings and prices. Family friendly. No cervesas or alcohol served. Practice your Espanol.
