Excellent service, friendly staff and the food was hot and delicious I work next door so I'll definitely be hitting yall up often
SO MANY DIFFERENT FLAVORS IN ONE BITE AND DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THEIR LOADED FRIES! 🤤🤤🤤 Got me extra hungry right now. 😂 DEFINITELY my number #1 SPOT!! That KK sauce is unbelievable. Even better when it’s dipped in the ranch! ☺️ I’m in heaven.
Never had KOK before not even from Lafayette nor Franklin.. and when I say more than 5 stars more than 5 stars and to say they are just opening up.. the wait time was very short.. Great Jobs Guys
Food:
The food was perfect and I really didn't see anything wrong with it. It was hot, fresh, and delicious! We got boneless wings, regular and loaded fries and the seafood sliders. All were perfect and tasted delicious.
Service:
We waited around 35 minutes for our food. If you use the screen to order, you can sign up for text messages to say when your food is ready. The staff was extremely nice if you can hear them over the blaring music. There is a coke branded fountain drink machine with the usual assortment of drinks.
Atmosphere:
It was lack luster. There isn't a clear way to order since there is no signage stating where to go. There's a screen on the wall for card payments and a register for cash that had no one there since the staff were all preparing orders. This caused confusion on where the line starts, ends, or if there are two lines. The menus are 3 laminated papers that are passed around by guests who are trying to figure out a way to order. There are no TV's, signage or on the wall menus to glace at.
The music was blaring throughout the building making it hard to hear when your order is called, along with talking to your guest if you choose to dine in. The music choice is also not family friendly as there were a couple of inappropriately related R&B music songs. Not a place where I would want to sit with a family.
There are 5 tables with 4 chairs each and 2 tables with 2 chairs each for a total of 24 total seating places with no outdoor seating. This causes the waiting to-go guest to take up precious seating for anyone wanting to dine in.
Personal experience:
Our first time experience at the restaurant was not that great due to the music genre, volume, and lack of seating due to waiting guests but the food was outstanding. I'm hoping in time all of these issues can be sorted out by turning Kok into a family orientated restaurant instead of a quick take out chicken shack.
