I was headed to the truck stop for some food, and saw this place out of the corner of my eye... I ignored it, and pulled in at the truck stop. Then I was like, whatever, geaux check this place out. I'm SO SO glad that I did! I got the two meat plate with ribs and chicken. I got rice dressing and BBQ beans for sides. Let me start off by saying... I think this might be some of the best bbq Louisiana has to offer!! Look how easily I could've ignored my curious eye, and wouldn't have gotten the chance to try this hidden little gem!! The prices and service are good as well. I'm trying the seafood next time!! A+

Arrived on Thursday at 6. They were OUT of chicken and didn't have the bayou mousse.
Ordered two meat platter with ribs and pork coleslaw and beans. The meats were tasty, but some was a little too pink for me. Beans were excellent, and coleslaw was ok. Bread pudding tasted pretty good.
The staff was polite and helpful.
There is outside seating. Prices were decent for bbq place.
The country music was blaring, I could do without. Oh, and they deliver to the Tiger truck stop. Check the pics for the number.
Overall, it's a nice place to get dinner.

Excellent, for a quick stop on our road trip through Louisiana. We found this place by accident a couple weeks ago. We enjoyed the brisket plate and added a rib for tasting. During our stop today we ordered half a rack of ribs to share, we have to say they were excellent again.

Clean restrooms make for a great pit stop as well as food.

Had the brisket sandwich ... it was delicious and at a very reasonable price.... well served food ... very nice people ... I highly recommend it ☺️👍😋🤤

Brisket sandwich was very good with potato salad as the side ( I personally don’t like coleslaw, but I enjoyed it in the sandwich)
They have a small seating area, with huge tables to order all the food you want, big fans on for the heat, and a radio playing music! I loved the whole atmosphere!
And of course clean well kept bathrooms !

Was just passing through town, I would recommend. The family was so nice and welcoming I really recommend you come give it a try!
