(July 30, 2020, 7:22 pm)Just passing through, but tried the cheeseburger, catfish, and chicken fried steak. The burger was really good, but man, the catfish is probably the best I've had and my son (who isn't fond of fish) agrees. The chicken fried steak is nothing to shy away from either... All really good! Next time we'll aim for this place!
Edited to add: the people were welcoming and enjoyable to chat with as well. -

(May 3, 2020, 2:39 pm)This is probably the closest to home cook meal you will ever get truck stop wise, only place I will eat fried seafood even though I prefer grilled seafood over fried seafood and I love their gumbo

(July 24, 2019, 2:09 pm)The ambiance of the establishment was comforting, especially during late nights. The gumbo was good but not the greatest and reminded me a little of canned soup. The stuffed crab was a little burnt. My previous experiences have been wonderful, which is why I will give 4 stars.
