“Fun gas station in the middle of Louisiana! A small spot but it is extremely clean and has everything you could hope for in a gas station. It’s complete with the “Dairy Station”, which has a variety of fried food and ice cream, which was cheap and delicious. A great place to stop and take a break, while checking out a novel convenience spot.”

“This place was great! We ordered the daily special for $10.99, which came with shrimp etoufee, fried shrimp, fried okra, Texas toast AND dessert! The portions are HUGE! We also got the gator tail and boom boom shrimp appetizers YUM!! I'm really glad I spoke with a local that eats there often and took her suggestion!! Our waitress was super nice, also. I highly suggest y'all do the same when you travel, seek out the locals or ask the waitress. ;)”

“My husband and I fast every Wednesday so we treat ourselves to a smoothie almost every Thursday morning. We love it! They have a wide variety of flavors and vitamins to add. Its nice to have a healthier alternative in our work area. They also participate in Waitr. I've had the "Hulk" panini once for lunch so far and haven't stopped thinking about it since. I'll definitely to ordering again! Their salads are really good too. Much heartier than anything else you can get in our area. I'm so happy we discovered Rivals. 💞”

“Overall really good, authentic food. Would for sure return! Atmosphere: Open space with 12 tables, no booths. Music playing but not over bearing. It was a little warm inside. Staff: Super friendly and welcoming. They were able to provide suggestions since this was our first time going. Food: Variety of meats (chicken, pork, steak, cracklins, beef tongue, beef cheek, sausage, etc.), tacos, breakfast tacos, quesadillas, burritos, etc. Priced fair: tacos are $2.25, quesadillas $7-10, burritos are $10. They really load the food with toppings/fillings! Tacos came with avocado, cheese, cilantro, onions, jalapeno, and lime. Location: on the corner downtown. Easy to access.”

This place has the most narrow toilet paper I've ever had the misfortune to use. There are times that wait times can be long and I understand frustration with that but keep in mind that if they're slammed then those times will be impacted. People working there were super nice always checking if we needed anything else, had all you can eat crawfish and just the minute the last one on my plate was put in my mouth she was there with another tray.....so great. Remember to bring your own beer, and enjoy!”
