I ate from a jalisco in alice texas an it was very good. An this meal was as arthritic as the food in south Texas. Thank you.

Please disregard the previous bad reviews, about it not being clean and having rude staff. Me and my mother ate at this restaurant tonight (shared this Mexican type of hamburger, with steak, lettuce, tomato, and avocado on it), and really enjoyed it. The restaurant looked very clean, and our waitress was very friendly. The only reason that I only give it 4 stars is because I did not like the atmosphere. It is too bright in the place, and I felt like I was eating in a brightly lit school cafeteria (if you know what I mean). I much more like a darker, nice atmosphere, with privacy. Too bright, and the square tables out in the open. Also, they could not offer us a free cup of tap water, and my mother wanted a beer, and they did not gave beer, because they do not have a liquor license. I just felt bad for taking my mother here, because they could not serve her a beer, that she was really craving. Anyways, other then that, the food was okay, and the server was nice. I really enjoyed the food, but I do not think I would go back, due to the atmosphere, unless I were taking the food to go.

The place is pretty easy to see from the road. They weren't too busy. I must have got there before the weekend rush. I was seated and had my drink within minutes. If you like live bands, this place is for you. You get plenty of food for the price. The waitress was attentive and nice. The bar looked well stocked, so I'm sure your favorite mixed drink is there waiting for you. Stop in one day, if you're in the area.
