What a great find flying in town! Food was amazing, great Cajun food and huge variety. Definitely try the seafood gumbo soup! Staff is so friendly and welcoming. If I lived here this place would be on my regular list. So glad they were open after the Covid time away. Also no worries on social distancing and cleanliness the staff works constantly to keep everything very clean and sanitized here!

Great restaurant. People are friendly, food is delicious and wonderful atmosphere. Their owner Trudy loves greeting and talking to her customers, Anne greets, makes sure you are happy with everything, and very friendly. Penny who works in the front of the restaurant is extremely friendly and I love talking to her. You make friends easily there. They treat you like family. Rare that you find that.

The food is great and decently portioned. The very big plus is the very friendly staff!!! We had a beautiful waitress named Colleen D. Who went the extra mile for us! My daughter ordered crawfish for the first time and didn't know how to eat them so she showed her!! She was very warm, personable and welcoming. Even if the food would have been terrible I would still come back just to experience the friendliness of the staff!! The food was hot and seasoned just right. The kids portions were very nicely sized and everything was at a more than reasonable price. I will definitely return here again when in the area!!!

Food was great!!! Service, not so much. It started out good, but when I asked for sweet tea it took forever to arrive, and then it was mostly ice. I asked for less ice and I watched the server go to the tea dispenser, top it off & bring it back with the same ice in it. Then she put a folded piece of paper on the table and left. It turned out to be the bill, but we hadn't ordered dessert yet.

So after a long while of her avoiding eye contact, she couldn't very well ignore our raised and waving hands. We ordered the bread pudding & it came burned and over-microwaved to the point it was hard & inedible. I mentioned it to the server & they said I'd have to take it up with management.

Obviously, no server in their right mind would serve that burnt portion, but the manager told me it was "supposed to be like that." ???? After a brief, blank stare of disbelief, she conceded to take the bread pudding off of the bill with a disdainful affect to her voice. This unprofessional attitude sullied what otherwise would have been a pleasant experience at Kenner Seafood. IMO, the cooks do too good of a job for it to be negated by bad service making a bad first impression on a new customer.

The onion blossom appetizer was pretty good and I loved the dipping sauce. The seafood platter was also very good. Shrimp is fresh and the corn is pretty spicy.
