(April 23, 2019, 6:04 am)Everything I have had here is great. Unusual hours so check and I would advise reservations but it is worth arranging your day around their hours!
Most recently I went with family for Easter Sunday. Very limited specific menu although a 5 course meal and not disappointed in any of the chefs selections.
Always a great choice and they have been around for as long as I can remember. Ot should be a locals favorite and well worth a trip out of the city for any tourist looking for fantastic classic food. -

(March 6, 2019, 9:40 pm)Although New Orleans is a food mecca, it’s lacking a lot of good, traditional style Italian restaurants. Well, Impastatos is one of those few gems. From the feel off the restaurant to the service to the food, it feels like a Sicilian style establishment. Mr Joe and his staff are quite the hosts. The 5 course is the way to go and none of the courses will disappoint. Prepare to leave full and very happy. Uber from downtown is about 10-15 minutes.
