la Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe Severn

The tomato basil soup is delicious as always! I tried the chicken pesto sandwich and I didn't expect it to be cold but it's good nonetheless.

This is my favorite La Madeleine Location. I love sitting outside and having their delicious French roast with their amazing creme brulee. Everything is always fresh and service is great. The only issues are parking in the lot is pretty difficult and there is only one restroom. They are also a little heavy handed on salad dressing so if you don't like it swimming, make sure you tell them.

This is a chain restaurant, but it feels homey like a mom and pop restaurant. Delicious pastries, really good soups and salads, all day caloric breakfasts but also healthy options like salmon and lentils. This location in particular I think the staff is really nice.

Great café. Parking is in the rear. Walk in and order at the counter, seat yourself. I have tried a lot of the menu items, and all of them have been good. I have not been let down yet.

I typically visit the Elmwood location, but they are temporarily closed. I’m so glad I decided to try the Severn location. The food was so much better. Everything was seasoned and cooked nicely. My party of two each ordered the Country French Breakfast, one with sausage and the other with bacon. Both of the meats were really good! The Potato Galette had great flavor and the Croissant was big, soft and buttery. They give you more than enough food and the price was good as well. To drink, I tried the Cappuccino and really enjoyed it. This is now my “go to” La Madeleine location!
