Took my fiancé here for Valentine’s Day. The food was good. But we waited what felt like 20 minutes for our waiter to get to the table. Our drinks were refilled only when we were almost done eating. We waited 20 minutes before our waiter came back and asked “you didn’t get your appetizer yet?” Which we didn’t. There was a couple who come in after we were there for a good while and they got their food first. We waited about almost an hour for our food. Service was not the best. But the food was good. I understand they were busy, but the wait on our food and refills was a slight disappointment.

For valentines we visited this restaurant and I must say it was fabulous! We did the date night special and it was perfect! Salad was very refreshing and fresh, corn grits were creamy, fresh delicious veggies, fish and sirloin was tender and amount of sauce to meat ratio. We split a peach Bellini, very small for the price. Waiter was very informative on what was available.

Great lunch special for being on the go. I and out in an hour. Friendly wait staff and fast service. The food was excellent too.

I have to come to this place every time I go to New Orleans. Their Thai ribs are some of the best ribs I’ve ever had. Their mashed sweet potatoes is excellent. Their grits with corn is amazing. I’ve tried to duplicate it at home and cannot. Well worth spending some time to eat at this restaurant.

Price with an average entrée is about $20-$25 a person. That is not including drink tax or tip. The portions are well sized, the service is usually good at this location. The wait can be long, but it is worth it due to the good food.

Reasonably priced food. Good serving sizes. Great salads. The deep fried shrimp and shrimp appetizers are great. Skip the smothered chicken but go for the rotisserie. Their 19.99 entree drink deal is great.
