Fremin's Restaurant

So many great things to rave about about this place. The atmosphere- 5 star, the bar selection- 5 star, and the menu- 5 star! Forget the low carb diet because the french bread with oil is a must!

I didn't like the meal I got the first time I went to Fremin's, but was encouraged to give it a second try. This time one of our party suggested the eggplant seafood stack. It was a good recommendation. I started with the smoked duck gumbo which is delicious and not that common on menus. Since the eggplant stack was not served over pasta or rice I ordered a side of new potatoes. The eggplant slices were breaded and well cooked to that perfect point between tough and flabby. There was a thick layer of seafood dressing between the eggplant slices and all was covered with a cream sauce generously filled with crabmeat, oysters & shrimp. It really did not need a starch as a side, which was good, as the chopped new potatoes were swimming in melted butter and Cajun seasoning and we're unpleasantly salty. I took part of my meal home and added half a plain potato to the leftovers to even out the seasoning. The tiramisu we shared with our coffee was a nice ending but not terribly flavorful. All in all, Fremin's was much better this time around and I look forward to eating there at the next opportunity.

Excellent! Choice for my daughters rehearsal supper. Outstanding! Experience staffing and Amazing! food. Highly recommended for any special occasions.

Just wonderful. The lobster Mac and cheese is the go to appetizer. Very nice drink and wine list. Service was excellent! All around very consistent...

I can't say enough about the culinary delights here. It's my all time favorite place to eat. I absolutely adore the staff. They treat me like a queen!
