Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

It's a DQ. Typical selection of burgers and soft-serve frozen treats. They are currently operating the drive through only. The line is long, but moves quickly. Our order was accurate, hot, and quickly served.

My experience was not the greatest at first but got better. The place was extremely busy and had lots of people in line. The food was good once we got it and the ice cream took me back to childhood and getting ice cream from dairy queen as a kid. I gave 5 stars because I cant hold them being busy necessarily against them and the staff did a good job under the circumstances. The biggest thing that made me want to give 5 stars is I was able to talk to the manager when I went to the counter to check on our order and he genuinely seemed to care, apologized for the wait and brought our order to us personally.

I was struggling between 2 & 3 ☆'s but, I decided to give 3. They've just been around so long &, I used to love them. I believe this was my husband's mother's 1st job where she was a manger in Mandeville, La. My husband loves this place & the icecream is fantastic. The staff is super sweet, attentive &, I see them cleaning often. I just don't prefer the food. I'm not really a Hamburger eater. I know there's other options which, I have tried. The taste is off to me. I'm just not a fan but, I'll come when my family wants to. The prices seem reasonable to me although, I don't have to pay attention to cost.
