Bought fried corn nuggets from the deli & they were cold and dry,like they had been fried many hours prior. They also had a terrible old grease taste & smell as well as being greasy in general. Gave them the 3 star rating because the fish,fries,chicken, etc.all appeared fresh & you couldn't really see the corn nuggets. Hopefully just a bad choice! Store was also very clean,and smelled clean. Employees were friendly and quick.

You do have to pay for parking if you don't buy fuel, but it is worth it. The ladies up front are very friendly and knowledgeable. They were patient with us while we were indecisive about what to eat. The owner should be proud of the ladies working tonight, 7/18/20. I would recommend you come here!

Big Boss is a truck stop directly off the interstate in Livingston, LA. They have a wonderful hot breakfast menu to choose from, as well as amazing lunch finds- my favorite is the cheddar-stuffed jalapeños. The service is great- everyone there is extremely nice and helpful. My true issue that makes or breaks any place is the ice served there- I’m totally addicted to eating it! Big Boss has two types of ice- regular and small cubes of ice that are only good for eating. So, yes I love this place and am relieved that it’s so close to my home!!!

Cool place! Huge lot for truck parking. Clean restrooms. Laundry facilities. Lots of items to look at and/or buy. I saw some great gift ideas. But, wait there's more! The food! They have a hot food area. We ended up getting Cajun fried chicken, boudin, honey biscuits, and crawfish pie. Everything was delicious! The cashier was friendly and helpful. We plan to stop again when we are in the area.
