(May 1, 2021, 4:22 am)Service at 9 pm on a Friday was quick and courteous. The food was cooked properly (unlike a lot of reviews I'm now reading claim) but the gumbo was not what we expected to get in the heart of Louisiana, on vacation from Houston. Fresh oysters? Good. Fried crawfish and etouffe? Real good. Not brave enough to try the alligator bites!

(March 25, 2021, 10:35 pm)This is a great little out of the way places. The shrimp poor boy sandwich was fantastic. If you're ever in Natchitoches Louisiana you need to look this place up. I cannot say enough about the service. Bryn was great. She greeted me as I came in the door. While I was there I talked to several other tables that were eating different types of food. They all said that it was great.
