Thank you tremendously for your Jazz Fest-inspired food distribution the last two weekends. the food and music were awesome, of course, but the attitude of the people giving out the food was THE BES. Thank you for feeding our community!

Loved everything about this place! AMAZING FOOD!!!!!!!! All the meats and all the sides are phenomenal - no complaints about anything we ordered. I loved the outdoor seating area. And I loved that you can watch them cook everything while you wait in line to order.

The food was really tasty and the service was quick. I love the outside seating especially when it's a nice pretty day. The prices of the food can be steep depending on what you order for example this plate was $20 after tax because I added a fountain drink but it was still pretty good. I would definitely go back esp for Happy Hour

So I do not eat meat, but my husband does and he wanted to come here to try the BBQ! He got the combo platter and LOVED it! Great flavor and great price. I got a couple sides and the garlic Mac and cheese was amazing! Definitely would come back here.

I stumbled across Blue Oak BBQ, after doing an internet search for good ribs in New Orleans. I'm so happy that I did. The service was great.... and the ribs!!! These were some of the best ribs that I've had made in a restaurant. I ate here 2 days in a row. I did find the sides "different" than I'm used to, which doesn't translate to bad. For example, the consistency of the potato salad was not as chunky nor yellow as I'm used to, but smoother and white with lots of green onions. All in all, I will be back for certain for the full rack with no sides. PS. They have old school banana pudding for dessert.
