    Food was not as heavy and rich as most New Orleans restaurants. It was refreshing to see broiled, grilled, roasted, and baked instead of fried with heavy cream sauce on top.

    Everything was phenomenal. Had a gumbo, BBQ shrimp, fish of the day and seafood platter... Everything seemed to get better as we progressed... Found it funny that another had said the chef wasn't afraid of "brown on brown"... Now understand... Food wasn't picture worthy, but it was damn tasty.

    Always on point in every aspect. Small and beautifully charming place. I love that Chef is around every time we go. I think that contributes to the way the restaurant is run so flawlessly. Everything on the menu is fabulous. And make sure to save room for the pecan pie. I never order pecan pie but this one is special.

    Great energy in the restaurant and fantastic food. Had an incredible soft shell crab that I had been anticipating for weeks. It did not disappoint. Service is was good, too. Will return. One small negative - my duck was a little overcooked but was still a tasty dish.
