Haiku Sushi

Delicious sushi rolls (specially Sex & the City). Great atmosphere and excellent service.

The food is priddy good. There are no substitutions allowed, even though the menu is a fairly standard, non vegetarian, Asian ramen place. Service is very nice and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Was here for the Coolinary menu and had a great time since Alex was my server! He was very friendly and I never needed anything! Their baked salmon and sushi offerings are really good. The tempura cheesecake is actually green tea flavored, I was so surprised and happy. They have outdoor seating too!

We found this place immediately after it opened in 2016, and had a rapid flurry of excellent quiet, mid-afternoon lunches there before we had to leave NOLA for Georgia for two years in fall of that year (tragedy!) but when we finally got to come home to New Orleans September of 2018 after two years of Georgia exile, we were thrilled to see it thriving two years later; having spent many years in and around the restaurant culture (chef husband) we know very well that competition is fierce and that even the best places can disappear. So glad Haiku has not. The food-still outstanding, the staff warm and friendly.
