Juan's Flying Burrito - Mid-City

Omg best thing I ate in NOLA for sure. Get the adobo tofu street tacos! And the margaritas are great!!! Yummy. If I ever come back I'm making this place a ritual.

Food was good. My burrito was huge. Surprised tho that it wasnt served piping hot. Great atmosphere, music...humble, eclectic decor. Great hole-in-the-wall feel. Inviting. Really enjoyed the experience. The place was packed with friendly patrons on a Saturday night.

This was one of the first places my husband and I went to when we moved to New Orleans, and we go back often. Juan’s Mid City is tiny, but the service is quick and so friendly every time. Some favorites are the nachos, taco salad, and enchiladas. I like the Frozen lemon berry margaritas and the rocks Fleur De Lis. One of my favorite things about this Juan’s is if they know something is off, they ALWAYS address it and make up for it before you halfway notice. That is a sign of great management!

My nachos with pork, chicken, and ground beef was a showstopper. As everyone saw the plate make it to my table, they were in awe. The flavor match the appearance! They did not get a five because some shrimp slipped into my toppings and I am highly allergic to shellfish. I ended up sick for 16 hours but it was worth it.

We sat outside on the picnic tables which was great. Our waitress was super friendly & the food was delicious! Very fresh tasting. Their happy hour deals are pretty good and their margaritas were AMAZING!!
