This was the first time my husband, son and I been out to this pizzeria. Nice atmosphere quiet and nice customer service. What brought us to the restuarant is because I believe they are the only restaurant that allows anyone physically to make your own pizza my son had a blast doing that it made him feel like a big kid????????. We will be coming back hopefully bringing others with us. Thanks a lot Heidi and staff!
We ate here for a second time when we visited New Orleans this past weekend. It was Sunday evening and I was very surprised that they weren't packed since the Bacchus parade had just ended. The only negative thing I can say is that they seemed to be very understaffed. It took a while to get a refill after my husband had asked for one. It seemed like our waitress was having to service way too many tables though. The pizza here is VERY delicious though! We ate at Reginelli's last year and couldn't wait to eat there again. I really love the crust. It is pillow soft and has the perfect "chewiness" in the middle, but it also has just the right crispness on the outside. The sauce is very good and they seem to put on just the correct amount. My husband, teenage son, and I cleaned out an entire large pizza. We can't wait to get back to New Orleans to have another!
We came in the middle of the day and was surprised to see empty restaurant and I was so hungry so we went ahead and ordered a pizza and a pasta. The pizza was finger licking good. The crust was freshly baked and amazing whereas I felt pasta were below average. Felt like they mixed baked pasta with ready made sauce.
Good pie and a fun place for the kids. They get to make their own pizza at the table. The garlic knots are great and are accompanied by their marinara sauce. The marinara is so good I asked for another cup to use with my pizza crusts.
Stopped here for an appetizer. We sat outside which was nice although the table was sloped down at an angle. We were a party of 8 and it took a while to get out drinks and maybe 30 more minutes to get our appetizers. Wish I would've gotten our servers name but she was sweet and was shocked at how fast we engulfed our food to get on the road. I wish we could've stopped in for an entire meal but as for just the appetizers, the food was excellent.
