Suis Generis

Suis Generis is one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. New menu every week! We’re always impressed and don’t understand how the chef delivers new flawless meals every week. It’s a hole in the wall spot but you will not be disappointed. Plus the staff is always so friendly! The food takes some time so don’t come in rush.

Such a great lil spot....menu changes weekly. Taco Thursday was incredible.

I'm giving this place five stars, because of the bartender Sophia. I had the trout for starters and my friend had the pickled sampler. Then he had steak and I had scallops crusted with Lancaster county pretzels with orzo rice. And arugula salad which had a lovely dressing. Sorry, but the scallops were a bit too salty, but the rice was great. Could have used a bit less salt, but it was fine either way. But the beauty of it all was the dessert. Oh my gawd. We had a different floured carrot cake -- I think it was semolina. But listen they had this mocha crumbled ice cream. I got my whole life with it.

Cozy atmosphere with a great and knowledgeable staff. The owners are good people who definitely put love into their food. Their menu changes but if there is a way for you to get the miso soup, DO IT!!! The chili-limeade with caçhaca was amazing. It was soo good, not only did we go for brunch but we ended up there for dinner as well. I look forward to going back!

My favourite Restaurant in town by far. The word to describe everything in there is Authentic. You must go and don’t be afraid of trying anything at the everyweek changing menu. I admire and respect the owner.
