Overall a great birthday experience. The service was great and entertaining. Poodle was a highlight of the brunch! He’s hilarious. The food and drinks were great. I agree with other reviews about the actual drag performers. It was weird being in a room alone and hearing the performers getting cheers but not being able to see them. On the other hand, it was easy to enjoy your food while they weren’t in your room but still performing. I wanted to take a star off for the actual performances but gave them a star back because the bathroom is one of the most beautiful bathrooms in New Orleans! A great experience but I will probably look for more entertaining drag shows.

This is a brunch review. This was a great break from the usual New Orleans stuff, but worth the trip. It looks...like a...Country Club from the outside, and apparently has a ridiculous pool too in addition to the bar/restaurant. Next time for the pool. Matias was our server, and brought forth incredible efficiency and personality to an environment where I might have been...a little out of my typical comfort zone. Good luck in the remainder of law school, Matias. The dancers were energetic, and in your face, but never too over the top. And, if you hypothetically get up and start singing & dancing randomly to Whitney Houston with them, they embrace that too. I had the crabcake and egg for food, and it was off the hook. I wasn't expecting the food to be that good when we were primarily going for the performance. You should get that. You can do a carafe for mimosas, and they had a local IPA for me. This was just a really, really fun experience, folks. Definitely try and fit this in your schedule.

This place was truly magical! An experience unlike any brunch I've ever been to. Some of the food is exceptional. Some is just good, but the overall experience is wonderful! I would highly recommend the crab cakes and the mac and cheese in the starters. The chicken and waffles leaves something to be desired, the chicken is very very thin so it's a little tough for my taste, and the short ribs and eggs was actually steak and eggs. My friend ordered it waiting for that fall apart. Goodness, but then just kind of left the meat and ate the eggs and gravy which were absolutely delicious. The bloody Marys are solid as are the other cocktails we had! The service was top notch and the show was so much fun! They also go around to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries to make your day a little extra special.

We went here for drag brunch and I must say it was OK. The food is pretty well prepared but nothing spectacular or special. Given all your options in New Orleans for this price point I've been to much more gastrointestinal exciting places. As for the show I've been to many drag brunches and this one was just Sleepy. First of all the location is very divided up so you spend most of your time not really able to see any performer. There really is no hype or DJ didn't even hear good introductions. The performers themselves just move amongst the tables taking your dollars. Very little if any choreography. Very little lipsyncing and when done it was half hearted and off the mark. The costumes are top notch though. Drinks were also pretty normal especially after getting brunch at Jewel of the South. Overall I don't think I'd do this again. Large crowds expensive food not offset by the experience

This was my first experience and it was lively and amazing! The performance, the atmosphere, the drinks, the service was wonderful. This was definitely one of the highlights during my trip in NOLA. If you need bills exchanged for ones to tip the performers, they will come around and help you with that. The drag queens performed twice and there were 3. They each did an amazing job! The food was very good as well! Service is pretty quick despite it being a full house. I would definitely recommend, just don’t forget to book a reservation.
