“We had a blast here on our first night in New Orleans. It's definitely a local bar with a welcoming vibe. I appreciated the late night good food. We were getting into town at 9pm on Thanksgiving and were able to eat good! We also ordered a couple drinks and played darts.”

“I was in New Orleans for a work meeting. On the day I was leaving. I saw this great little spot down the street from me. It's a really well designed outside and inside space. It's so welcoming green and with simple but tasteful decorations. It's very unique and authentic and how the furniture and art and architecture has been designed for the space. The food is well thought out, diverse and fresh. There's something for everybody. The coffee is delicious and well selected. The staff are so friendly and efficient.”

Mick's Irish Pub

Address: 4801 Bienville Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119, USA

Restaurant

“Great little pub with old school charm. It was quiet in the late morning when I visited. However, you can just imagine this place on St Patty's day. They have all the good dive bar beers. I ordered a Schlitz and my guest grabbed Pony high life. I'd definitely stop back in this little spot when I'm in town. Don't miss out on this little gem if you can.”

Bud's Broiler

Address: 5101 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124, USA

Restaurant

“Bud’s Broiler is a burger restaurant that is known for their signature hickory-smoked sauce. I don’t usually eat beef but I was in the mood for a burger and had been wanting to try this place out. I ordered the hickory sauce burger and the hickory sauce fries. They were both so delicious. You could taste the smoked hickory flavor in the sauce. The burger was on the smaller side but it was so good. They have affordable prices and great customer service. If you are looking for a good affordable burger in the city I would recommend going to Bud’s Broiler.”

HI-BALLZ

“Had a great experience here. The person working seemed like they really wanted us there. We got a free sample of the oat milk soft served ice cream and it was delicious. They also had smoothies and lunch food. Next time I will try the food. My friend got the lavender tea and really enjoyed it. We will be back!”

The Crazy Italian

Address: 206 W Harrison Ave, New Orleans, LA 70124, USA

Restaurant Meal takeaway Meal delivery

“Don't walk out before you try the food. Our first impressions were not very good. The place needs a little more attention to decor. The service was very lacking, and they had the tv's off sink. That being said, the food was AAAAA-AMAZING. The GARLIC KNOTS!!!!! SOOOO GOOD!!! The pasta bolognese with papparedelle noodles was exquisite!!! I would go again in a heart ❤️ beat!! I can't wait!”

NiteOwl Food Truck

Restaurant

PIZZA domenica

Address: 117 W Harrison Ave, New Orleans, LA 70124, USA

Restaurant

“Five of us (myself, my wife and three teen to adult children) went here late one Sunday evening on a recommendation. We started with the bread knots and whipped cheese. The knots were a doughy disappointment, to be honest, but the whipped cheese was a revelation - *if* you like garlic, which we all do - it was light in texture but amazingly (and strongly) flavored. I can still taste it now, an hour later! The pizzas serve about two people with a reasonable appetite. We had the white, the funghi and the tutti carne. They were all very good. This is New York style pizza with a thin, light and crispy base. You can get dipping sauces for the pizza edges, but that whipped cheese from the garlic knots was more than enough. We all wanted dessert, but it was getting towards closing time and our waitress, who had been all friendliness and efficiency to that point, suddenly got confused and forgetful and eventually announced that the restaurant was pretty much out of every dessert option. She had clearly had enough and wanted us to leave, which was a disappointing end to what had been a pleasant experience. We'll probably go again, but try to be there at least an hour earlier.”

Chez Pierre Bakery Lakeview

Fuel Express Mart

Address: 7220 Hayne Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70126, USA

Restaurant

“Best gas prices in town. Good food. I love the fried chicken. The owners are engaging and always have a smile for me. The ice machine makes soft ice. You can buy it by the bag they give from behind the counter. I love that ice.”

Restaurant

“They didn't have what I wanted, I wanted the seafood platter they had a fish or shrimp platter not a combination I was only given one fish fillet and some fries which was nothing special”

Southshore Donuts & Restaurant

Address: 7929 Downman Rd, New Orleans, LA 70126, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“Shrimp plate was BANGING! We went just after 7pm and had to wait a bit for our food but it was worth it. They still had a good selection of donuts as well. When we looked for a place to pick up dinner we saw this place had decent reviews from locals, but the menu was from 2007. Wanted to upload the 2023 version to show prices haven't gone up much and you still get alot of food for your money.”

MSM KITCHEN

Address: 8009 Downman Rd Suite C, New Orleans, LA 70126, USA

Restaurant

“Ordered a 2 shrimp poboys needless to say they count their shrimp. Each sandwich had about 18 shrimps on them. Had more bread than shrimp and lettuce. The onion rings were greasy (didn’t eat them) wasted money😢. And the fries were cold (didn’t eat them either) you see the pictures. Atmosphere was cool people were nice for the price of the food, very disappointing. If I hadn’t driven so far I probably would’ve brought it back. I will not be returning and I drove from Memphis, TN😩😩😩”

You could watch TV, listen to music or just enjoy your own company. It was clean and the two lady's was very respectful. I will be back”

PJ's Coffee

Address: 6600 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“I buy coffee at the drive-thru. The problem with this location is that the drive-thru attendant, regardless of which employee it is, always smiles and says would you like to leave a tip? It's embarrassing and I feel pressured. I don't feel like drive-thru should be asking for tips. It makes my purchase awkward. I've stopped going to this location because of it. Yes I know I could say no, which I never do, because I feel pressured.”

Asian Panda

Address: 6600 Franklin Ave A-6, New Orleans, LA 70122, USA

“I have only eaten the Honey Chicken here, and every time I've had it, the food tasted good. The rice and noodles were also good. I would recommend this restaurant solely off the Honey Chicken.”

“We were in the area and happened to see the sign and give them a try. I’m so glad we did!! Service was great and food was even better. We got the fresh bread, pad thai, and the Bangkok garlic pepper with crispy duck. Everything was perfect! So fresh and seasoned just right!”

La Patrona

Address: 575 S Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, LA 70118, USA

Restaurant

“This was by far the best Mexican food I've eaten in New Orleans. The service was incredible, the food was even better. Homemade everything, from the Margaritas to the Tortillas. It was delicious. Not sure it was Wheelchair accessible, but there is no doubt in my mind they would come out and carry your grandma inside! 5 stars! Will be back again! Super reasonable on price, but the quality is the real star. Can't wait to be hungry again.”

Cafetomas Uptown

“Best taco tuesday deal hands down!! We went there and enjoyed some $1 veggie tacos that were delicious. Seriously so flavorful. The happy hour deal was $5 cocktails i think and $2 small Coronas. We will be here every Tuesday :)”

Fleur-De-Lis Nutrition

Address: 143 Allen Toussaint Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124, USA

Restaurant

“Pretty good. I got the 'Breezy' Tea and it was pretty good. Had a really strong taste but not a bad strong. It was nice and clean inside. The menu is really long and can be overwhelming, but it is a good variety to choose from. Will be going back frequently to try more flavors.”

Hangout Ramen

Address: 1340 S Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, LA 70118, USA

Restaurant

“Our food was done quickly and, like all ramen spots, was a decently sized portion. We went for lunch to get the lunch special. The waitress was a little confused at first and wanted to charge one of our bowls for regular price until I pointed out that she only gave us the lunch special menu so what we picked was in fact a lunch special. She fixed it, and we were charged the right price. It was a reasonable price as well. The Japanese sodas are in cute bottles but are $5 for a small portion, so I do suggest getting something like Sprite or root beer for $3. My spicy bang bang ramen wasn't spicy whatsoever, and I'm not sure if it's because they thought I couldn't handle spice (this happens to me often as a black american) or because I'm so used to eating super spicy food. We asked for chili oil, and it was fine. We should've asked for 2 because we had to share between the 4 of us, and I wanted it extra spicy. The food came out pretty quickly, and it was delicious. They were also playing really good music the entire time, and the decorations were pretty. We chose this ramen spot for my birthday before we fully decided that we were coming to NOLA, so we had high expectations of this place, and they did not disappoint.”

MIDORI sushi & hibachi express

Address: 1120 S Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, LA 70118, USA

Restaurant

“We love Midori!! Their fried rice is so yummy (my favorite) and their portion sizes are so big, I’ll be eating leftovers all week. The staff is so friendly and I truly enjoy myself every time we eat here. Tonight, the chef surprised us with a special salmon sushi, a thoughtful gesture (and a piece gobbled before I could snap a picture!!). I also love that their ginger dressing is clearly homemade with tons of fresh ginger. If you are thinking about going here for dinner, do it!!”

Oak & Ale

Address: 8118 Oak St, New Orleans, LA 70118, USA

Restaurant

“Oak seemed to me as more a wine and cocktail bar that serves food than a restaurant. The food is good it just doesn’t seem to be the main focus, primarily small plates. Service was friendly and prompt. The live entertainment was was very good without being overwhelming. Overall a nice place to spend some time.”

Mother of Pearl

Address: 8132 Hampson St, New Orleans, LA 70118, USA

Restaurant

“Excellent! 5 stars is not nearly enough! We were invited to Mother of Pearl for a group dinner. We shared apps & we ordered diifferent entrees (as all foodie friends should), so we could share & sample. Every single dish was beyond delicious on top of being beautiful! We can't wait to go back & share with our friends! PS- save room & try the desserts!”
