“09/14/2017 Its a small country truck stop with a huddle house. Not so bad just off the main interstate. Huddle House was as good as it gets. Didnt try the showers, but this has everything you need during your travels 01/15/2019 It has been awhile since we stopped in for an overnighter. Still plenty of parking, inside has a new restaurant... Krispy Krunchy Chicken, now i love me some fried chicken but this is the best that i have had in a long time. The folks here are awesome, very polite and fun to talk with. Always a good place to stop for a bite to eat, shower, use thw restroom and relax at the casino or tv lounge.”

“Great launch and bait shop. The guys there are friendly and the lot is in decent shape. My only recommendation is to clean up the lot and organize the parking a little better. I'll be launching from here as long as I'm fishing Chalmette!”

“This place was awesome and their food was amazing! We got the pound of carnitas which came with a side of beans and rice and tortillas for 20 dollars plus tax. Their cucumber/lime and pineapple Agua Fresca was delicious and refreshing! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed and the music which made me feel right at home. I'm so glad we stopped here before we headed out of Louisiana!”

“Finally got my hands on one of their famous king cakes. I got mine at bouree restaurant, which opens at 11 am so it’s nice for all the ppl who don’t make it to the other stores which open at 8 am. I’m from out of town. I recommend going to one of their official resale locations. You’ll have better luck getting one. The actual bakery sells out very quickly. I got the cream cheese. I do have to say although it was very delicious it did seem to be overrated, maybe I should’ve gotten the traditional cinnamon as my first time trying, I hear that one is the best out of the flavors. The cream cheese icing on top is very light and airy, almost a whipped consistency, the filling is mainly in the middle, the outer edges don’t have any filling so it’s not overly stuffed which is nice. The dough is very soft! It’s a nice size too, could feed a decent sized party easily. I would definitely try it again next time I get the chance !”

“My girls love the mash potato bowl and pot pie. I'm only writing this review because I love writing reviews lol but not much to say about KFC. It's literally just a quick option for lunch when other lines are to long so then boom KFC. Definitely not what they use to be but good enough to still eat... 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️”

“This place is amazing. It was clean. Looked great. Pizza was legit. Staff super helpful and ready to step in for whatever we needed. Our 6yr old had a blast with his friends & family celebrating his bday. We had the place to ourselves from opening to about 12. I have never experienced kinder & more genuine service than today. Thank you”

“Another great experience, and hopefully, this spot stays like this, 1. Consistency for a local this is key 2. Understanding, to not have to repeat the order 5 times is very convenient 3. Speed no one likes to wait. These 3 key factors make a great coffee shop. This is the second time I come , if the third experience is the same then this will be my go to.”

“The mobile express lane is the stupidest thing Chick-fil-A has ever done. If you order ahead on the app you have to go to the outer lane which is the longest lane. You're better off going to the inner lane every time you go there and order when you pull up. Don't order in advance unless you're trying to wait.”

“Cute little Vietnamese restaurant! I live in the neighborhood and this was my first time going. It's super cute and clean inside, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I got the steamed dumplings, fried tofu, grilled pork banh mi, and the Thai tea. The banh mi was big and filling chunky and sweet. I'd never had Thai tea before, but it was sweet and milky. So glad to have this place minutes from home.”

“Some of the best sushi we’ve had, and that includes Tokyo and many places in Okinawa! Some of the rolls are combinations that are unique, and this is the only place where the sushi plate does not include a California roll. There is just the one sushi chef, but he is very efficient and everyone’s orders come out either together or in a circle so it isn’t one person with all the food while everyone else waits.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thai Nola has become my go-to spot in New Orleans. The Tom Yum soup is a masterpiece, perfectly balancing sour and spicy notes. It's evident that the chef takes pride in crafting dishes that are both comforting and exquisite. The staff's attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine enhance the overall dining experience. They make you feel like a welcomed guest on a culinary journey. The ambiance strikes the right balance between cozy and sophisticated. I appreciate the thoughtfulness put into the vegetarian options, proving that flavorful and satisfying dishes don't require meat. In a city renowned for its diverse food scene, Thai Nola distinguishes itself with a menu that captures the essence of Thai and Creole cuisine. It's a 5-star destination for anyone seeking great food and good customer service. Looking forward to many more visits to Thai Nola!”

“Bring your appetite! I tried the Creole Queen and my friend had the Philly. It does take a little extra time but they sure do it right. Great flavor profiles! Sooo good! We ordered the dessert beignets - Cheesecake and a Sweet Potato. Ended up having to eat those later because we were both full from lunch. Atmosphere is very chill. Server was great! Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu.”

“This place was truly magical! An experience unlike any brunch I've ever been to. Some of the food is exceptional. Some is just good, but the overall experience is wonderful! I would highly recommend the crab cakes and the mac and cheese in the starters. The chicken and waffles leaves something to be desired, the chicken is very very thin so it's a little tough for my taste, and the short ribs and eggs was actually steak and eggs. My friend ordered it waiting for that fall apart. Goodness, but then just kind of left the meat and ate the eggs and gravy which were absolutely delicious. The bloody Marys are solid as are the other cocktails we had! The service was top notch and the show was so much fun! They also go around to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries to make your day a little extra special.”

“We came here, saw a long line of people and thought it would take a while, but the people who work here are amazing, the line moved super fast and we got our food super quickly. The atmosphere is rustic but modern, which I love. The pizza is delicious, as the name says. But I do wish they had more options for pizza by the slice. Prices are great too. Overall a nice experience :)”

“This is a really cool place in the Bywater. The outdoor seating is filled with fans and picnic tables. There is also a bike rack inside the outdoor space which is really convenient for diners. As for the food— I tried the pork shank several weeks ago and I wasn’t too crazy about it. The meat was on the drier side, but I would like to give it another shot. On my most recent visit I got the Nola schnitzel sandwich and warm potato salad. They were both tasty and fresh. I would definitely come here if you’re craving some German fare.”

“We hired Big O Pops to roll up to our family crawfish boil, and they were incredible! They brought numerous flavors on their adorable bike/cooler and everyone was blown away by the pops. They made it easy to coordinate and my family is still talking about the flavors!”
