One of the best waitresses I've had in Monroe.
Strongly suggest you request Iyonia.
Best roast beef poboy. The fries where also great as was the service. Best roast beef poboy I have ever had in my life. Bread was so soft easy to get a clean bite .well as clean as a bite you can get when it is dipped in gravy.
This was my first time at Bayou Grill. The outside is a little run down so I checked the reviews and everything looked good. The food was good and service was friendly. Everyone was talking about the french fries in their reviews so I got some. Yep, they are very good.
If you are in Monroe and want a quick bite to eat, this is a good option.
Overall, we really enjoyed our first experience here. Everything we had was great with one exception. Don't get the queso. For $8.99, we ordered a look large white queso and chips. It was barely a scoop, and we were supposed to somehow split it. It was cold and nearly congealed, and the four of us who split it each got about two small bites before it was gone. I won't make that mistake again. To top it off, the chips were stale. The fish was the best I've had locally, though. My husband enjoyed his buffalo chicken sandwich a lot, and my daughter said her po-boy was good. The middle child thoroughly enjoyed her chicken strips, and the youngest just about made herself sick on mozzarella sticks. We all enjoyed their fries, and that fried corn is perfection.
