Waterfront Grill

Tried the Catfish Desiared based on other reviews. It was great. The service was fast and friendly. The views of the bayou were relaxing. The walls are full of memorabilia from the Army Air Corp base that was the start of the Monroe Airport and Delta Airlines. If I read correctly this was the NCO Club the Air Corp Base during WWII era.

I am fortunate because I travel for my job and get to eat in some grat places, this place is simply awesome. The food was the best, red beans and rice and the red fish were some of the best I've ever tasted. Sit at the bar and let Adrien take cate of you, it will be a great time. I can't wait until my next trip to Monroe so I can eat here again!! Owner is in the kitchen making sure the quality is the best. Wish I could give it a higher rating.

The food from here never disappoints. Servers are attentive and courteous. Pork chops were perfectly cooked, and the grilled catfish exceeded my expectations (have only ever had it fried before).

The food and service was wonderful, but right off the bat, I felt like we were an inconvenience considering we didn't have a reservation. One lady told us they had a 7pm reservation for the table as if telling us to be done by then. That didn't feel very welcoming. But then our server treated us very kind and welcoming.

Great view! Had dinner with a small group, and got a good amount of food. We had Pepper Jack Spinach Dip that was amazing! I loved my Waterfront Shrimp! I had a delicious cocktail as well, the Waterfront Chiller. Our server Elizabeth was wonder as well! Will definitely be returning soon!
