Belle's Ole South Diner

Stopped when we were driving through and we found it was filled with the locals on a Saturday morning. What a treat to get a table as quickly as we did and the service was spot on. In the busy, cook to order kitchen was worth the time we waited. I had the chicken fried chicken biscuit, others in our party had to try the boudin with their eggs, and we took beignet to go. Certainly worth the stop to support this little gem.

1st time visiting and they made me feel like a regular - all employees were very friendly and place has an old home comfortable vibe.

We absolutely love this place. Anytime we are near we make a trip.
This morning we drove a hour to have breakfast.
Staff is always so kind and helps with any questions.

We got there at 1:57 pm and they were supposed to close at 2pm. They were so sweet and said for us to come on in! Service was excellent, food was excellent, great atmosphere. The staff seemed like they all got along really well. They knew some customers names. Just an all around feel good place to eat! I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, purple Hull peas, a delicious yeast roll. They fixed us a to go drink (Diet Dr. pepper) and your dessert is included we brought ours home. It was bread pudding...so delicious! I highly recommend this place and will for sure be back!!!

Wanted to try a new spot for breakfast. Just driving by seen the parking lot was full. Quick U turn had to try. I’m very impressed how polite the staff is and how quickly we got our meal. I’m always wanting to support the local mom and pop shops.
