I love eating here! The atmosphere is great, the staff is very attentive, and the food is very tasty. The place has a small-town feel where folks know each other and enjoy one another's company. Definitely a throw-back to an earlier, simpler time.

OOPS! We got there late. There was no baked chicken and half the sides were out. I settled on the fried chicken and potato salad. The chicken was very nicely seasoned. The potato salad was good too. The cornbread was sweet. The grilled shrimp salad was nice with lots of shrimp. Lexie, our server, was SWEET TEA in leopard print Adidas shoes. The place is popular with the locals, which is just what we were looking for. If we go back, we'll make it early so we can have all of the choices.

This business is a family operating restaurant that prepare home cooked meal on daily basis. Great tasting meals each day rotation a different selection each day of the week at reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Very friendly. The grits were a little thick but the amazing biscuit more than made up for it. The omlet was made with real eggs was was great. The coffee was strong but smooth. We try to come here every time we come to Louisiana. It's really worth the visit.
