“a classic convenience store + kitchen-in-the-back combo. very reminiscent of the indian stores back in my hometown, so i loved the nostalgia !! food was excellent and well priced, and the service was so good! she even gave us some free chocolate as we explored the shelves while we waited for our food. the staff were so friendly and chatted with us. we tried chicken, beef, and lamb - recommend them all!!”

“Stopped by because I noticed a new sign out front. I had the shrimp tacos and the papusas. Both will have me returning regularly. The owner was there both cooking and serving and she was super kind. As for the beer, they serve in chilled glass steins, which is super rare nowadays! I'd stop in for drinks even if not hungry (although its worth taking something home) Definitely worth a stop if youre in the area or even in the bywater.”

“This is the 3rd time I have had the Oscar burger and it has some good qualities and not so great ones. First of all, the pickles and bread tasted great, the onions are good and the tomatoes have been fresh. The first time I had the burger, I tried it as listed on the menu, second time without the spring mix and the 3rd time sans spring mix and grilled onions. Each time, the bun didn't hold up to the amount of ingredients in the burger and became a soggy mess trying to eat the last half of the burger. The biggest detractor may be that the patties have been a bit tough each time. They taste like they are cooked starting from a frozen start point and mashed too many times while cooking. And lastly, the fries are served with entirely too much rosemary for my taste; it's an interesting flavor the first time eating but just too much thereafter.”
