“My first time in this hidden gem and i have to say this is a fabulous little store. I highly recommend trying the food from the restaurant. I do not speak Spanish, but the clerk, Karoll and the lady in the restaurant area were so helpful and patient with me. Karoll explained how to make a recipe I asked her about. I ordered the pollo con tajadas pechuga (fried chicken with plantains, slaw, tomatoes, pickled onions and jalapeños)and pork tamales. The menu is in Spanish, but they translated everything for me. The food was amazing and enough for 2 or 3 people.”

“The coffee is great but I’ve noticed a significant decrease in the amount of icing on the cinnamon rolls over the past year. The last one I received looked like it barely had a tablespoon of icing. Unacceptable”

The wings were a little small though, I gotta go back to see if that's the norm but definitely has flavor and cooked perfectly. The fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked. “Nice local spot that's very clean and friendly. Nice married couple open this hidden gem . Had the pleasure to chat with the two few days ago while waiting on my order. The food is made fresh and has that home cook meal type of feeling. My family enjoyed the meal I brung home . It was very delicious and flavorful. BBQ melt right off the bone it was so tender. I will definitely visit this spot again soon .”

“This is the best pho I've ever had. The broth is just right and not salty. I had the meatball pho and my friend ordered the vegetable pho with shrimp. That was packed with mushrooms, bok choy, broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. We both were so happy with our decisions. Thank you to our waitress and the chef!!”

“Never able to catch this place open when I’m passing through. A shrimp poboy w/ onions and a side of fries, total was 20 something I believe. Fries & shrimp were fully seasoned. I had crunchy lettuce & my tomatoes weren’t mushy but firm and somewhat a thick cut, fresh pickles as well. My apologies no pictures of the fries, more like Burger King fries, possibly fried in peanut oil. Added 2 more pictures I had 1 was a fish sandwich & the other was another shrimp poboy. Honestly no complaints at all.”

“I've ordered to go three times from this place. The doughnuts were good. No complaints there. The second time I ordered, I had ordered 12 wings, only received 8. I didn't call because I was already home by the time I realized it. The last time was Friday (2/2). I ordered two chicken combos and a chicken tender combos. All were cheaper than g we thing the 8 piece plus two sides for $34. I get home again and no sides on the combos. Again didn't call. But when it's late, there is no use in complaining when you're tired. Just won't be patronizing the business anymore.”

“We were in New Orleans visiting and we wanted to try something local and outside the city. So glad we found this amazing restaurant only 20 minutes away. The owners were welcoming and friendly. They made excellent suggestions. Every single thing we tried was fresh made, well seasoned and delicious. My husband said the fried porkchop and cornbread were amazing. The red beans and rice were the best he's had! I highly recommend the crawfish and shrimp pasta. But you absolutely have to get a slice of banana pudding cheesecake. It is the best dessert ever hands down! You can't go wrong here, so absolutely recommend making a stop here.”
