Great food, atmosphere, staff and delicious craft cocktails. We have been here for brunch and dinner - great experience on both occasions.
Had another awesome wine dinner at Lafitte...can't wait to go back for dinner
Slightly more upscale than Lama's and Jubilee which preceded the present establishment in succession. Interior looks much prettier with a great color scheme and frosted glass partitions. The wife and I went for jazz brunch on Father's Day, June 16.2019. The couple playing jazz, keyboard and bass, played at just the right volume. Great voices too. Our waitress started us off with "Bloody Mary Cards" where you order their basic version but check off what you want in it: lime, olives, a fried oyster, a boiled shrimp, a prosciutto rose, bacon, okra, spicy bean, etc. All the food groups. Menu is great with many choices from farm to sea, featuring local favorites with unique additions. Prices are very reasonable. We shared charbroiled oysters which were great, and for entrees had the sirloin tips with grits, and steak and eggs on fried eggplant with brabant potatoes. Both entrees had the perfect sauces as an accompaniment. Wine list is varied and reasonable. We had a nice California cab and a great Portuguese red. As a new establishment, they are still getting the kinks out on service, but everyone is very friendly and attentive. This is a most welcome addition to the neighborhood!
We visited for the first time last night. We ordered several items on the menu, and it all was super tasty and very delicious! Our appetizers were the crab cakes and duck quesadillas. We ordered a small plate of speciality cheese, meat, and other sinful treats! For dinner (we were a party of four) we had the duck, fillet, the Northshore grill, and the tuna. For desert we had the absolute heavenly creme brûlée and a special upside down banana cake that tasted like banana fosters. Definitely will be back! Atmosphere was also wonderful:)
