The Dakota

Phenomenal food service and atmosphere. Had a wonderful evening with my fiancé for her birthday. Couldn’t ask for a better time!

We had a lovely dinner for our special occasion. Food was delicious. Beautiful presentation. Service was great. Jimmy did a great job. Now here is my one negative. I’ve been always told first impression is most important. Front doors need cleaning and the mat in front of door badly needed vacuum. If I were the manager, that mat would be swept or vacuumed everyday. Just my opinion.

We’ve lived in the area for about a year now and have gone to The Dakota several times. We have always had a fantastic experience. More recently, with the stay at home order, this restaurant did not miss a beat. They adjusted to curb side and each time was awesome! Finally, this past weekend, we got to return to our favorite North Shore spot for dine in and they did not disappoint. Amazing staff, amazing food and amazing experience!

This was my first time and definitely won't be the last! I can't wait to return. The grilled romaine Caesar salad tasted like a steak. The pork shank was yummy. The lamb nachos were very tasty and huge. The gumbo was good and the oyster and brie soup was great. Nice atmosphere and great service. Perfect playlist pumped in.
