“This was the best Thai food my wife and I have ever had, especially the chicken pad Thai! We do not know how they make it but all the textures are perfect from the noodles to the extremely creamy peanut sauce. The service is also fantastic! I’ve been always told first impression is most important. Front doors need cleaning and the mat in front of door badly needed vacuum. If I were the manager, that mat would be swept or vacuumed everyday. Just my opinion.”

“Celebrated birthday with six adults and five young children. The portions of food are very generous and we went home with more food than we actually ate! The virtual gaming devices are pretty cool once you get used to the playing area and realizing that you're not going to hit the ceiling or the walls around you with the golf clubs. I would definitely recommend coming here for any event or just to have a little fun and eat some pretty good food. Sorry I don't have any pictures to post but I was too busy eating and playing to take any pictures but if you go to the Facebook page they have plenty there.”

“My family (8 people) and I went today (Sunday) at 3pm. We got seated immediately, the atmosphere is awesome (we ate outside) got to see the goats, turtles and a gray cat lol. Great for kids to walk the bridge while waiting for food. I got the shrimp and grits on the app list and the black jack oysters and they were AMAZING!!! However, the waitress, an adorable little goth chick, pretty much ruined it. I would have given this place 5 stars but the waitress is the reason I’m giving it 4. She was MIA most of the time (they were not busy) and when we did see her she was walking slowly looking bored. It took forever to get our drinks and whenever we asked another waitress about them, she said that our waitress had messed up. Would have been nice if our waitress would have told us that. I ordered my 3yo a chocolate milk and she brought it out in a whisky glass. We waited forever for her to come ask if we were ready to order. We finally had to ask her “hey can we order some food?” She may be new, not sure, but if she would have been more informative and apologetic we would have understood. We will still be going back because we love the place and the food and we’re not gonna let one bad waitress ruin it for us.”

“Fat Spoon has some great food with south Louisiana style. The restaurant is located inside the old Pizza Hut on Hwy 190. It's rennovated very nicely on the inside tho. It's a cozy place, very clean as well. Decorated cafe style. Don't let the outside looks scare you off. This place is well worth a try if you haven't been. The food came out quick. Service was extra friendly and helpful. Prices were fair for portion sizes. Everyone in our group liked what we ordered and will be going back for another visit. Family friendly cafe style restaurant serving breakfast all day long. Recommend.”

“This place was an experience! My wife and I stopped by here on a trip to go Kayaking on the Northshore. First, no that you will need reservations. Unless I missed it, you will need to call to make these reservations. We wanted to go on a Saturday and we (after having our kayak trip canceled twice due to weather) discovered that you have to call in advance. The first time we called mid-week and they were booked up. Maybe not for weekdays, but definitely for Saturday. The restaurant has various themed rooms. All are adorable. The tea service is great! Soooooooo many teas!!! I had a black tea that was recommend. My wife had a hibiscus. Both yummy. I had the Windsor high-tea while my wife had Shepard’s pie. Both were tasty. The scones are absolutely the best!!! My only gripe would be the customer service was a little lacking. Everyone was very very friendly, but it wasn’t the fastest service. It took probably 10 min from the time our check was dropped off for the waitress to make her way back around. Ultimately it didn’t really impact our experience so I am still happy to rate them 5 stars. Overall, this place is a gem and very unique. Highly recommend!”

“It was my first visit to Garcia's. It was wonderful food and service to say the least. You must try the secret recipe turkey in whatever style you prefer. The flavor is amazing. I had the fajita combo of steak and turkey and was amazed. We also had the flat nachos with the turkey... first class of nachos! Cadillac margarita was exactly that, A Caddy! I can't wait to return to try more delicious treats from the menu. Cant forget to mention that the owners and server were very atentative. All details were met with ease. Great job!”
