(January 6, 2020, 7:21 pm)A very lovely experience. We went into Foodie's after the Christmas parade in town. Restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was cozy and quiet with soft music playing. The fried oyster salad was delicious. The fish and chips were fresh and portions were good sized. We plan on going back again soon.

*My wife and I rate restaurants based on the idea that four stars is very hard to achieve and five stars is next to impossible!
This is the perfect small Italian restaurant you read about. Upscale without pretention serving great food and wine in an atmosphere perfect for quite romance.
Buy a nice bottle of wine and relax with your lover while the server caters to you without being obtrusive.
Try anything on the menu with confidence and take your time savoring every bite.
A new favorite of ours, Ristorante Foodies is high on our list for the best in this small Louisiana town.
