“As a driver, I frequent Waffle Houses regularly. Now, it is what it is. Eggs, grits, really good hash browns and, of course, waffles. The difference in one to another is the quality of preparation and the service and Waffle House across the country can run the gambit. I have stopped here a couple times over the years, sometimes good, sometimes less than that. Today, though, this Waffle House was just outstanding. The wait staff was great, the food was perfect and the cook went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. For some great food and service give this place a stop over.”

Worth the drive from Baton Rouge and very well packaged – I was maybe 15 minutes late to pick up my order and arrived home about 40 minutes after that, and it didn’t need reheating. The curries do come with (delicious) rice (this wasn’t clear from the Grubhub menu I used). We will pick more up the next time we happen to be in, or near, Hammond, if not sooner!”
