“Ate at the restaurant and stayed at the marina in a single room as part of a larger condo (caught a glance at the condo living area and it was huge and well appointed from what we could tell, although single room guests who don’t purchase the condo will hear condo noise since the single rooms are adjoined with the condo. Non-condo single rooms are also available.) Meal was average (pro tip: skip the “jumbo” shrimp platter and opt for a shrimp po-boy. Same amount of shrimp, half the price.) Had a housekeeping issue at check in and was relocated without a problem. Accommodations were on par with what I’d expect for a fish camp; 1 bunk set, 1 twin, and 1 double bed. Nice, fresh linens but room smelled a bit musty and had a car air freshener stuck in the ceiling vent. However, the service from the manager was 5-star worthy. The next night, some rowdy neighbors checked in next-door and she worked with me to provide a workable solution. I really appreciated her willingness to make it right, even though their behavior wasn’t her fault.”
